When you or someone you know is diagnosed with a mental illness, it’s often difficult to know where to start. How serious is it? Will it get better? Where can I find help? Add on top of that the stigma surrounding mental health, and it often seems easier to do nothing. We don’t believe that anyone should needlessly suffer because of their mental health and we want to help give you access to any and all of the many resources available in Central Arkansas.
MINDfest was developed to create a comfortable and engaging environment for community members, as well as mental health professionals, to connect and share information regarding mental wellness. The festival includes a wide variety of vendors and educational activities from across the spectrum of mental health and wellness. In addition to providing resources, vendors are encouraged to provide interactive style booths to increase engagement and impact among festival attendees. The festival also features live performances from local musicians and several activities for children to take part in.
Even if you don’t feel that you’re affected by mental illness, come out and learn how you can improve your mental health
